Jalapeno Conchos pepper can grow up to 75 cm in height. It has a bushy stem growth, green leaves, and white flowers. After 60-80 days from transplantation, the first fresh fruits can be harvested. They are approximately 5-6 cm long and about 6 cm wide. During ripening, they transition from green to bright red. This variety is highly productive, and the fruits have thicker flesh. The most common consumption is of the fresh green fruits, which have a refreshing taste with a hint of spiciness. Jalapeno Conchos can be considered slightly taller than other Jalapeno varieties. The fruits can be used fresh in seasonal salads and sandwiches. They are suitable for stuffing with various compact fillings, as well as for breading, grilling, pickling, drying, and grinding.
