Aji Charapita Pepper Seeds

Aji Charapita pepper seeds are currently among the most financially valuable in the world. Originating from the Amazonian region of Peru, these small but mighty peppers pack a flavorful punch. The plant’s stem can grow over 1 meter tall (up to 140 cm) and 70 cm wide, with a bushy structure.

It has smaller green leaves that are up to 7 cm long and white flowers. As they mature, the fruits transition from green to vibrant yellow, embodying a fiery, fruity flavour highly sought after in gourmet cooking. Known as the “mother of all peppers” in local traditions, Aji Charapita is treasured for its intense heat and unique ability to add a tropical zing to dishes.

Despite their tiny size, these peppers are a staple in Peruvian cuisine and are increasingly popular among chefs and food enthusiasts worldwide.
