Red Savina Habanero pepper seeds yield a pepper that held the world record as the hottest pepper from 1994 to 2007, with a Scoville rating of 577,000. The heat of individual fruits ranges from 200,000 to 577,000 SHU.

It was developed through the crossbreeding of different Habanero pepper varieties in California, thus it shares the characteristic flavor of Habaneros, though not as intense.

SEED IS NOT ISOLATED. In some cases, the ordered plant may not always grow from the seed due to cross-pollination. This is about 5% of the plants.

GERMINATION: Under suitable conditions, the average germination rate of the seeds is 70%.
